Design
Updating a home or a space involves a lot of choices… colors, patterns, shapes, the look and feel of the room… we help you put together a set of choices that fit your ideas, that can fit your mental image of the space you want to live in. Then we help you arrange the space that evolves with your things, once you get there, to complete the picture. Placing furniture, arranging shelves, hanging artwork… there are a lot of choices, and we help with all of them.
Coordination
Moving into a new place is stressful. Packing, unpacking, arranging. Renovating or updating adds stress and complexity dealing with multiple contractors, being present and inspecting the work. Being there, showing up, making sure the work is done, all of that takes time away from responsibilities or is impossible due to distance. We can schedule the work, watch over it, and make sure it gets done.
Details
There are a thousand little things that come up during an update or a move. Utilities, scheduling deliveries of furniture, carpets. Even finding an old piece of furniture you’d like to reclaim and give new life in a new space. The devil is always in details. We help with that – we find solutions to unusual problems, locate the needed expertise, and do what it takes to overcome the little – or big – issues that get in the way.
